Derek started Bulwark Fence in 2017 after leaving the financial services industry. He started his journey in home improvement for a change of lifestyle. His path quickly went from Handyman, to Landscaper, to Fence Builder, which has become his passion. Derek uses fencing as a creative outlet and turns out beautiful work in wood and metal.

Derek and Roger met in 2020 with Bulwark Fence being a client of Superior Powder Coating. In 2023 Derek & Roger saw an opportunity to combine their talents. As sister companies Bulwark and Superior have found a synergy, which ultimately provides an unparalleled product to every client.
